EducationLocated within the University of Tasmania School of Agricultural Science, the FSC’s Education program has a long history in Food Microbiology beginning with the research of Professors June Olley, David Ratkowsky and Tom McMeekin in the 1970s. Today, the FSC is recognised as a national and international leader in food microbiology education. The FSC offers undergraduate units in Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Microbial Ecology, and Advanced Food Safety Management (fully on-line).
