Food Safety Capability MapThe Food Safety Centre’s (FSC) Capability Map is an internet-based Food Safety Locator listing Australia’s food safety research and training providers. Essentially it is a directory of organisations, people and facilities that conduct research and services that are related to food safety. There is no charge to be listed in the database. We support this resource through a subscription service offered through the Food Safety Centre. To REGISTER in the CAPABILITY MAP CLICK HERE. Structure of the MapOrganisations and individuals listed in the Capability Map range from companies and consultants through to government bodies, universities and professional organisations. Capabilities include physical, chemical or microbial hazards, or a combination thereof, as well as provision of food safety training. This includes groups/individuals who have a direct focus on food safety, as well as those with expertise about hazards that could potentially affect the food supply. For example, you may not work directly on food safety, however you may have expertise about a hazard that could be useful to risk managers in food companies, an industry body or government organisation, should such a consultation be needed in the future. Who will use the Capability Map? How do I become a contributor to the FSC Capability Map?We hope that you are interested in participating in this initiative and that you choose to update and retain your listing with us. Obviously there is no requirement for you to participate in this endeavour and we will remove your profile from the database at any time upon your instruction. Your information will not be used for any advertising or promotional purposes. To REGISTER in the CAPABILITY MAP CLICK HERE.
